If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re out of the loop on AI, or you’re realizing the world is shifting faster than your group chats can keep up, you’re in the right place. “Inside The Loop” is my weekly newsletter and your home base for understanding the AI that actually matters to you—without needing a PhD, a technical background, or a crystal ball for predicting AI.
Here’s the difference: many other places talking about AI focus on the macro, big global consequences, sweeping societal changes, or existential risks. That’s extremely important, but here we focus on the AI you can use today. The tools, trends, and insights that help you hit your daily goals, make smarter decisions, and understand what could help or hurt you in real life.
But before we go further, let’s talk about the loop itself.
In AI, there’s a classic idea called “human in the loop.” It’s the principle that humans should guide, supervise, and shape AI systems rather than stepping aside and letting machines run the show. But when I talk about staying “inside the loop,” I mean something bigger: staying informed, staying aware, and staying connected to what’s happening so you can act, protect your work, and unlock opportunities instead of accidentally missing them.
Right now, stepping outside the loop (choosing not to understand AI) comes with real consequences. Technology is moving fast enough that experts predict a major shift by the end of the decade. Many computer scientists believe we may see early forms of Artificial General Intelligence by 2029–2030, the kind of intelligence that can perform most tasks as well as—or better than—humans. Whether these predictions arrive early, late, or not at all, the movement toward more capable AI systems is already transforming careers, education, business, and everyday life.
Your advantage isn’t being the smartest person in the room. Your advantage is being the person who stays in the loop.
That’s where this site and newsletter come in.
Each Tuesday, Inside The Loop will drop a clear, conversational breakdown of what’s happening in AI, headlines you should know, tools worth trying, ideas worth noticing, and the occasional question worth thinking about. When there’s a deeper story to tell, you’ll also get full-length articles that unpack a single topic in a way that explains what’s changing, why it matters, and what it means for your work or life.
Over time, you’ll also find case studies, helpful prompts, guides, and practical walkthroughs for using AI in real workflows.
If you’ve been out of the loop, consider this your starting point.
And if you’ve been paying attention already, this will keep you from falling behind.
Either way, welcome.

Let's be honest—most of us don't have time to read full-length articles unless we're on the porcelain throne. That's why I'll include infographics like this one from time to time to help you digest the important parts without having to read the whole thing.
